Team CowaLUNGa

Do you want to ride in the CowaLUNGa Bike Tour but have no one to train with? Do you want to be part of a team?

Team Captain Staci Bush invites you to join Team CowaLUNGa Training! The following benefits are available to all team members:

Why Cycle?
Cycling is an excellent form of exercise for all ages and fitness levels, with benefits similar to jogging and running. It has something for everyone. Why Cycle?

Are you just starting out? Start slowly. If you're starting from a low level of fitness, have a history of injuries or haven't ridden a bike for a while, do some general, easy riding before embarking on Team CowaLUNGa's 8-week training program. Start with short, 15-minute rides on flat roads or trails and slowly build up the duration. Also, it’s important to have appropriate bike handling skills. Various cycling clubs, park districts and/or bike shops offer workshops on this essential skill. Choosing a bike and proper bike fit is also important. Bike shops have professionals who are able to assist in proper bike fit. If you’re comfortable with your bike, both fit and skills, it's time to get started!
