What Is CowaLUNGa?

Basics

CowaLUNGa is a three-day bike tour (with a one-day and a two-day option) held Saturday, August 2 – Monday, August 4, 2008. The ride starts at the Gurnee Mills Shopping Mall and travels into Wisconsin with overnight stops in William's Bay and Whitewater. One-day riders finish the day with dinner in William's Bay and return to Gurnee on Saturday night. Two-day riders finish the ride with dinner in Whitewater and return to Gurnee Sunday night. If you're staying all three days, your journey continues on Monday with a celebration at the finish line in Hubertus, Wisconsin.

The one-day tour is approximately 65 miles.

The two-day tour is approximately 130 miles.

The three-day tour is approximately 190 miles.

We ride for a reason. All proceeds from the CowaLUNGa Bike Tour benefit our mission — to promote healthy lungs and fight lung disease through research, advocacy, and education.
