Total Support — Your safety is our number one concern. We provide on-route medical support, all-day route patrol and mobile bike repair. We also transport your gear from one overnight stop to the next.
You — After you register, you will receive website links to all the information you need to prepare for the event including fundraising tips and what to pack for the ride. Daily check-in is required at the event (you must be checked-in and off the route by dinner time.) Helmets are required. NO HELMET, NO RIDE.
Your Bike — It is recommended, but not required, that you ride a road bike for this event and bring a lock. We provide a place to store your bike at night. Professional movers pack-up your bike at the finish line and transport it back to the Gurnee Mills Shopping Mall (available for an optional fee paid at time of registration).
Great Food — All you can eat breakfast and dinners are provided each day. A Vegetarian option is also available. You're on your own for lunch each day but, the route travels through many nice towns.
Rest Stops — Daily rest stops are available complete with your favorite fuel-up foods, fresh fruit and drinks.
Accommodations — Indoor cabins are provided on the first night (except one-day riders) and dormitory rooms on the second night (for three day riders only.) You will be sleeping on beds, but you must bring your own linens. Rooms are assigned on a first come, first serve basis. If coming with a group, you must provide a list of your preferred roommates at time of registration. Every effort will be made to keep your group together. Early registration will be given priority. Outdoor camping option is also available (you supply your own tent — we transport it for you).
